Commercial and Retail Leases

For lessors

• We prepare the standard lease agreement and attend to its registration. We can also attend to negotiations where needed.

• Fee $900.00 for lease agreement, sub-lease and assignment of lease (small business only)

• Land registry services registration costs will apply - $147.70 per lease

• In addition, agents or PEXA fees for the registration of the lease apply and are charged at cost to you.

• If you ask us to attend to negotiations, we charge a fee of $300.00 per hour.

For lessees

• We can provide you with advice about the contract, your rights and obligations including costs. Our comprehensive advice means we review the lease contract and consult with you about your particular business and its requirements and ensure that the lease takes those requirements into account. We also look at all the fees you will need to pay in addition to the rent and give you advice about your obligations, particularly should your circumstances change or where damage is caused to the premises.

• Fee $700.00 for advice on standard commercial lease contract (small business only) and includes witnessing your documents and following up on the registration.

• We can also assist with negotiations. If you require assistance with negotiations, our fee is $300.00 per hour.
